German Death Cards

Find Your German Ancestors Death Card

The book contains a full record of many of the court cases including such information as Name of Plaintiff, Name of Defendant, The Charge, Arresting Officer, Outcome of Trial (Verdict). You can see a sample page from the court records ledger at Staunton Court Records.

Some of the court cases include people not from Staunton but from the surrounding towns and countryside. I also noticed at least one from a nearby military base.

This ledger book is a one-of-a-kind genealogy court records resource for the area in and around Staunton, Macoupin County Illinois . If you had ancestors living in Staunton or nearby you may find your ancestors are in this book.
