As a young man he came west and located in the state of Michigan where, on December 25, 1856, he was united in marriage to Miss Lucinda Hatfield. Nine children were born to them--five sons and four daughters. Three sons and two daughters survive him--W. E. and Grant Dressler, of Hutchinson; Charles Dressler of Geneseo; Mrs. M. F. He professed religion many years ago and united with the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Forest Home school house. He was a good man, and had many friends who, with his sorrowing relatives, will miss him much. He said, just a few days before he died, that he was ready to leave this world, and his loved ones said good-bye, expecting to meet him in the better world. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Forest Home school house by the Rev.
