JOHN W CLEMENTS, SR.
John W CLEMENTS, 67, of 508 Thornton street, Liberty, died yesterday at the
University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia. He was born in Lone Jack, and
lived 25 years in Liberty and Clay County. Mr CLEMENTS was a Baptist. He leaves his
wife, Mrs Blanche CLEMENTS of the home, four daughters, Mrs Joan TERRILL, Liberty,
Mrs Mary Jane EIDSON, Mack’s Creek, Mo., Mrs Jessie WILLIS, Lawson, Mo., Mrs
Gwen MULLIN, Liberty; two sons, Richard CLEMENYS, 3600 East Seventy-second
street, North, and John W CLEMENTS jr, Lawson, Mo.; a brother, Homer CLEMENTS,
representative from the Jackson County 12th district, 1234 South Main street,
Independence; four sisters, Mrs Jessie MYERS, 5937 Charlotte, Mrs Fern HARTLEY,
Sunrise Beach, Mo., Mrs Mamie MULLIGAN, Lee’s Summit and Mrs Margaret PIPER,
1814 South Vermont, Indpendance and 13 Grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30
o’clock Thursday at the Langsford chapel, Lee’s Summit; burial in the Long Jack
Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o’clock Wednesday night at the Chapel.
