Funeral Card Leslie Mayfield Stotts July 1893 - Sept 1893 Missouri
Funeral cards are an overlooked free genealogical resource. They often contain both the Birth date and Death date and can be used as a substitute for birth and death records ( Vital Records ). Now from a technical point of view they are not a true substitute for vital records. But it's a good place to start. If you interested in what things qualify as a true Vital Records there is a good article at the Olive Tree. Unfortunately these valuable resources are scattered and there has not been a single repository for this valuable resource until now. It is my hope to create the best funeral card database on the net.
Funeral Card Leslie Mayfield Stotts July 1893 - Sept 1893 Missouri
These two cabinet cards came from an album filled with photos of the Stotts and Bellas families, Missouri (Sedalia, Charlston, Kansas City). The memorial card was behind the baby photo so I assume this is the baby who died. Identified as Leslie Mayfield Stotts, born 31 July 1893, died 9 Sept 1893. Card was made by George Mitchell, Manufacturer of fine Memorial Cards, Greenfield, Indiana. Two holes at the top of the memorial card, probably for a ribbon

So the real address is ancestorsatrest followed by the @ then the last bit gmail.com Sorry but spammers make this roundabout method of emailing necessary!***
