Michigan is on Nine Mile Road which is the townline division between Northville and Novi. The Novi Historical Commision has erected a sign there, but I don't know which city it is considered a part of. I transcribed these stones in 1999. Myron C. son of E&R Thornton died [Dec. 11, 1879] aged [18 years & 23 days.] Scripture too faded to read. 5. George C. son of [?] & Anne Cronkite died [?] 12, 1862 age 2 years, 1month & 22 days. Scripture below too faded 6. Hattie A. daughter of JG & AE Cronkite died Mar 20, 1861 aged 11 months & 21 days. 7. Only west face engraved: HEMAN HOLDREDGE Sen. Died Jan 23,1875 aged 75 years. 18. Large marble monument. Only west face engraved: DOROTHY wife of H. HOLDRIDGE. Died Apr. 26, 1880 aged 88 years note 2 different spellings of last name. 19. HULDAH wife of Samuel Blanchard died Oct 10, 1859 age 29 years 7 months & 2 days. Blessed are the pure in heart. 20.
